Out front in my garden is a wooden barrel crammed full of daffodils that have bloomed. As I look out my window and see this colorful bright spot each day, I’m continually reminded that Spring is finally here! This exciting and refreshing change of season brings on visions of soft colors, sweet bunnies, tulips, jelly beans, decorative eggs, and Easter baskets! It’s Springing!!
Digging out the Spring décor I confess, gave me a rush of giddiness! I’ve found that even simple changes in my surroundings this time of year, can wipe away the frost and give me a little spring in my step (excuse the pun). In going through my things, I pulled out a cheerful bouquet I had painted years ago on a small sign. Immediately, I was flooded with memories of sitting at my favorite place in the house – my painting table. I can actually remember the details of painting that piece down to some of the strokes and brushes I used! I hope to continue creating more beautiful memories with my painting time and hope you can too!
With that said, it’s time to take a look at this gorgeous issue of IAM which is also full of lessons that have “bloomed”. Each project and article started as a seed planted in the heart of an artist. Hard work, care, and a dose of love brought these projects to bloom. You’ll find artwork by Diane Trierweiler, Valerie Stewart, Debbie Cotton, Priscilla Hauser, Gisele Pope and many more! Go ahead and find something to bring to your painting table. Enjoy the coming months with a delightful project or two or three…
We’d love to spread the word to the world! Many people haven’t heard of the Interactive Artist Magazine yet. Please pass us along to your friends and let them know about all the wonderful art you find here. Till next time!
